Storytelling and Art Making
(All ages) The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Don and Audrey Wood Art Activity: Explore the fun of model magic to create a variety of fruit. An inspiring, nurturing, and creative setting provides preschool children and their companions the opportunity to explore and grow through art. This hour long program begins with a story in the galleries and is followed by an art activity in our studio, 10 to 11 am, cost is $10 for adults and children are free. Alive at Five - Sister Sledge (Concert)
At the start of the millennium, Sister Sledge was nominated for a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, was voted by VH1 one of the most successful girl groups of all time and in 2001, ‘We Are Family’ was voted the No. 2 biggest record of all time (opening band: The Trammps), 5 p.m. to 8 pm, free.
