Nisky seniors collect school supplies for students

Two senior living communities in Niskayuna are collecting school supplies and backpacks during August.
Wynwood and Clare Bridge Niskayuna invited the community to drop off donations, which will be given to youths involved in the Northeast Parent & Child Society.
Items can be dropped off at either Wynwood Niskayuna, 1786 Union St., or Clare Bridge Niskayuna, 2861 Troy-Schenectady Road, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Our residents and associates enjoy the sense of purpose and emotional response they have when they help those in need,” said Heather Mancini, executive director for Wynwood Niskayuna.
